Queens of Hearts...♥

Happy Monday, everyone! 



It still looks very Valentine-y here, doesn't it?



I'll fix that soon...;)

 I just wanted to take a minute to show you my finished

Queens~of~Hearts...

 (Now in my Etsy shop).

 They were such fun! 

 Now on to the next project, some little "mini" Fairy Houses... 

 Made just like the larger versions,

but on the small gourds like my little Queens.

 Pics of those soon!

 The kitties love it when I have stuff everywhere...

 (When do I not??) 

 They stalk around like lions, sniffing everything ~

 It doesn't even have to be "new" stuff

(though if it is, so much the better).

 It just has to be moved to a different location in the house



 for it to be prime sniffing-material...;)

Shoe~Cobbler to the Fae...;)

Hi, Everyone! Happy Weekend!

 A little shameless self-promotion here...

 The Fairy Shoes are finally going in my Etsy shop

 and I also wanted to pin them on Pinterest...

 (My daughter Mandy said there was a way to do that directly,

 but I only know how to do it from an on-line source!)

 I really wanted to show you the shoes, anyway...:)

 I've been having such fun with these little things!

 I did a post on them last spring,

but they have since gotten a little more detailed...

teeny-tiny roses and all!

Happy Valentine's Day!

Happy Valentine's Day!



I've been working on some Queens~of~Heart's...



(painted in acrylics on dried gourds, accented with polymer clay crowns)



suitable for Valentine's Day, but really meant to be Queens



of the Alice~in~Wonderland type...



I wonder what you call a bunch of Queens?...



A Bunch?...A Bevy?...A Horde?



Anyway, I'm working on several Queens,



and Leo is helping me...;)



(They're going in my Etsy shop this weekend.)

No matter how little room I leave for Leo on my painting table,



he manages to squeeze himself in...



(I don't do it intentionally... art "stuff" just collects around me...



encroaching on Leo's space...;)



He knows if he makes it look difficult enough to settle in, I'll move some things around.



Good help, that Leo is.

I have to get back to painting,

They're large files, so you can do a lot with them...
