This afternoon I'm picking okra and starting to dry some of it in the oven....

Isn't the red pretty? It doesn't stay this color when pickled, though, as we had hoped...

Of course, the color okra is when growing in the garden doesn't matter to these fellows...they're all painted and decked out with polymer clay! This group of "O'Kringles" is from last year, But I will have them in my Etsy shop again this fall...
